Also does anyone know of a glue suitable for sticking the rubber surrounds to the leather in my woodwalkers? The boots are still good but the rubber is peeling like an orange ? I've tried shoe glue but after a good climb it comes loose

MS-11 Rapid polymer adhesive and sealant. Fast initial grip and first cure in minutes, fully cured in 24 hours. I used it couple of weeks ago to glue my leather Haix workboots back together, the seams had spilt on the sides exposing the liner. Didn't think it would work, but it really did, they are like new, mind you I really lathered it on. Its tenacious stuff.

Re-Booting this :laugh1:.

Has any one used Haix resole service as just knocked sole off mine and tops are in good nick.

Been in contact with them and they say can not re-sole these because perished so taking them to cobbler I use to see what he can do.

I had a pair of Haix Protector Ultras resolved by Altberg as they are quite literally just up the road from me (Richmond, North Yorkshire)

Paid about £45/50 ish. Very impressed. Possibly not quite as grippy but will outlast pathetic Haix sole for years. I did a review on here and posted some photos somewhere...

I've got a pair of re-soled Altbergs; top job done and the price is worth every penny several times over.
