It occurs to me that car tax will be refunded to registered keeper

Not necessarily the owner of the car

I see trouble ahead .........

But that is no different to the system we have had for years. Its just that its done automatically now rather than having to be claimed.

What if the keeper is a limited company? that's not even a person.

 

 

Who cares, do you own a fleet? Why are you so bothered about this?

i see tax runs out on truck end of next month so that will be by then the new way no disc. interesting. i think i will keep proof of getting it just in case. system says i have not paid for one. bound to be some discrepancy. and the onus will be on the owner to prove you have paid for tax
