Anything with a high biological oxygen demand will kill roots, milk is just that. It will have the same effect if dumped in a stream, the bugs that try and digest it remove all the oxygen from the water and this kills the fish.

My mum used to say if the wind suddenly changes direction while you're pulling a funny face you'll stay like it for the rest of your life.

 

 

 

It's true as well cos it happened to Plippy.

Another thing you can do with conkers, if you get a bigish but flattish conker and you can wrinkle your eye round round it and hold it like a monocle , the get another for the other eye....

 

 

...you wont see any spiders

 

By god another business opportunity !

I see them with a nice ( organic free range ) neck chain

Sell them through farmers markets ?
