No i had JBL fold it for me and make the toolbox.

so it's single skinned and the folding process engineers in some rigidity and strength?   Looks very tidy.

Yes just single skin, folds make it incredibly ridged then being held on all 4 side's increased it even more.

What does that sort of back do to the carrying weight? I need to convert my Hilux extra cab and trying to sort a setup that doesn’t add loads of weight cutting down its (legal) carrying ability

Only have to reverse gently into a post or similar and knock it off line, then a miss may not be a miss.
Looks really really tidy by the way. Great job.
