Polo shirts are the worst of the worst ,I would never Ever issue those as a uniform to climbers or groundies ,even worse dark coloured polo shirts that attract the heat . I don't mind vests as long as there is nothing rude or swearing or bad tast ,the job is hot , for me I whare plain T shirts .

Long sleeves in the heat stops your skin cooking, I like hi vis t shirts personally like the ones arbor wear make or underarmor I think when speaking to a client when you arrive on site you should have a shirt or a t shirt on, then change when work starts etc i just get burnt with a very on personally

We use full hi viz singlets, t shirts and long sleeve although the singlets are getting less and less of a look in with the harsh sun in NZ. The full sleeve shirts are transit compliant so we don't need a hi viz vest when working on the road which cuts down on weight and heat. All the shirts are made from the wick away, quick dry material and are pretty good at not being too stinky. They also look quite smart compared to some of the local contractors and they comply with our arb codes of practice.
