I dont want to be the harbinger of doom, but i think? a 130 hi-cap butt isnt the same as a 110 hicap butt- its a bit shorter:001_unsure:

you are absolutley right, the butt is shorter on the 130 than the 110,fortunately this time it's deliberate as it gives the opportunity to stretch the cab and provide a secure storage area for a tool locker behind the seat, and dog storage above that - well thats the plan anyway !:001_smile

Well done mate- as soon as i had written that post i thought of the advantages you have mentioned, and wondered if it was deliberate choice for you.:001_cool::001_smile:

Some of these land rovers look proper good, ive had a couple of series 2 and 3s but nothing in tipper form, what will the 110 and 130 carry tonnage wise? and what size of chip box can you get on the back.

cheers

I can legaly carry about 1.35 tonnes, the box will take 4.5 cubic yards, and is about 6foot 3inch by 8ft 6.

get a crappy trasnit for £1500 to carry chip and mulch- It only has to last a year to pay itself off, then you wont have to butcher your landrover and can use it to price in. Plus you can use the landrover to tow the transit out whenever it gets stuck on a blade of grass or a gravel drive.

I take it thats why you call yourself "the cowboy", a £1500 transit ain't gonna look very pro .

And having to go say 30 miles home to get his landy, pull his heap out, then take his landy home, then come back for the heap, sounds like a PITA to me
