New stihl policy - data tagging?

Went into my local dealer today and they're data tagging all new stihl saws, any other dealers doing this?

Had my ms150t done under warranty, so that's now registered to me

I wish husky would do this too!

Think I'll do all my stihl saws...

You can do it yourself to any thing you want . Did my bike years ago .

Personally I think it looks a bit ugly and would rather go down the smart water or similar route if I felt the need.
