I use the red pffanner gloves from clarks, they are very long lasting and wash well, they also don't burn out quickly when lowering stuff.

They are very similar to the North (now honeywell); bit thicker, bit less close fitting so a wee bit less dextrous...

I buy rubber palmed gloves in bulk get them for about 75p a pair last between 2-5 days depending on what I am handling.

Went to local agri-dealers the other day and when there try on the gloves they had and could not even got a large on ???

Don't climb, but on a saw or lobbing logs etc; get a month out of a pair - ish. Washable and excellent grip on wet and dry brash; completely remove abrasion without removing feel.

 

Size 9 - tight to start but loosen up after an hour to a fantastic comfy fit. Go for 9's if you normally have a 10...
