So how are things?

I'm now quieter than I'd normaly be at this time of year, still going though just less work out there it seems. I know many others round here are quiet too. There also seems to be a lot more kit for sale these days, and lots of guys ringing up looking for work.

 

What's it like in your neck of the woods?

Im down to working 2 days atm, which is ok whilst im at college but i used to look forward to the cash boost when half term or whatever came around. But when these holidays do come around we still only work 2 days...

 

So ive just been working with the old man, which dosnt pay well lol and sorting out logs but im not going to see any money from that until the winter, so money is abit tight atm.

Were ok at the moment.The company i work for has plenty of LA work and hedge work at the moment so i think we will be ok.

have been really busy the last week or so and more work to carry me through to the end of next week. thankfully. different story a fortnight ago though

We're quieter than last year but doin alright. Our contract work for big companies and LA's has slowed alot but the domestic side has gone through the roof!!! swings and round abouts i suppose?

Tree work seems to have slowed quite a bit but getting alot of fencing work so its all good, i think the fencing demand is coming from the rise in crime people want to be more secure.

We were working in Moseley last week and a local tree surgeon came and introduced himself, he was saying how snowed under with work they all are in the big smoke....still not like that round here just yet but the work seems to keep trickling in so musn't grumble.

I'm much quieter than normal. I KNOW that others say they are snowed under, when it is not the case.....can't understand that.
