Dang, I thought this thread was gonna be about some new fangled climbing hooks.

Ditto.

Would have thought any wound on the tree is a potential entry point for disease, CODIT may be effective but is not 100% reliable. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Good on em though, better in the hands of hippies than highflying fatcats.

- and its a hell of a lot better to have a few ceramic spikes in the trees than have them clearfelled just so that some bloated faced property developer from Essex can parade around in his shiny new Beamer showing off his authentic Caledonian Oak Dash to his golf club buddies.

Yeah right.

Think about what BMW really want when it comes to sourcing wood for their dashboards. And it isn't going to bother these hippies much!

I'm off out now to fell a 3000 year old Gingko to make up a new gearknob for my Transit.

Excellent, good on them. Maybe the locals and visitors to that area can enjoy those woodlands for another 13,000 years. BMW dashboards = sh*te.

Quite agree. If I was shelling out my hard earned for a top spec BMW I would want trim that was made from somthing perhaps looted from a Palace by the Germans during the war.

Or an endangered tree at the very least.

Not to mention what "leather" I would want the Seats covered in.

My steering wheel cover would be made from a Budist Monk and the Fluffy Dice from Snow Leopard Tails.

Mike,

Shrek emailed me this image, he says he took this pic of you next to your stretched X5 on the day you decided to become a citizen of Norway.

is this true?
