Do you have any pics of your digger thumb? I am planning on making one for my digger so I am collecting ideas.

Have a look in the Rigging and roping sub section on this forum mate, there are pictures of it in "Zip line fun" or similar.

The Thumb came with the digger,it has two Rams.Very handy

What do you mean poor old Landy those things love it! So how did you get the lump on the trailer?

Not been near computer for a couple of days....I winched that piece of chestnut about 80 yds out of some woods at a stately home, then put theramps up the side of the trailer and ran the winch wire over the top of the log , underneath, and back to the landy across the top of the trailer, then rolled the stick on. Basically. Log weighed just shy of 3 ton.:001_smile: It is now cladding!

I must be going mad cos I cant find any diggers with thumbs. Did find a yellow one with a black grab. Also does not help that you cant search for a 3 letter word either so out of "zip line fun" you can oly search for "line".
