stihl or husky pole hedge trimmer

Echo here - good build, low vibes, the foursroke Stihls are.............interesting to maintain and they will need maintaining.

 

Two stroke is such a simple technology - why buy a fourstroke - too much to go wrong!

Out of all the hedge trimmers iv used I like the Echo and Kawasaki the best. My kawsaki is on its 5th year now and as never given me an ounce of trouble- might give it its 1st service this year tho!

I have some 4mix stuf and its neen fine......wont buy any more though, too complex for no good reason. Echo next time.

You see; S & H aren't the only brands in the world

 

+1 for Echo. Both Echo & Kawasaki engines are sweeeeeeet

 

Two forgotten brands, the first long gone were Blitz and Lawnflite; both had kawasaki engines. They bring back memories of the good old days. Had Echo trimmers since the 80's, all still in fine condition.

There's a makita powered pole pruner add in FJ this month, if they've one of those I bet there's a hedge cutter to look at to.

Do not overlook Tanaka. I service all sorts, but Tanaka are my firm favourite.

+1 for tanaka most of our power tools are these and they take dogs abuse and keep working. Having a good dealer local works as well.
