hry joe, geckos are awesome but not adjustable, so if you have wee legs they might not suit. bashlins are good too, i would wait till the AA and try some out at jonesies. if the geckos fit then go for them.

They come in small, medium and large, I think the alloy ones have some adjustment, not like the carbon fiber ones.

AS always Joe, try before you buy.

My carbon fibre Geckos are well comfy, but some wear and tear issues have been highlighted on this site. Mine are going well after 11 months and I wear them down the pub and everything.

carbon for me as well, trying them with the euro gaffs at the moment wich are an aquired taste a bit like having talons on your heels ! I did like the kliens untill they got stolen ,very comfy then replaced them with some bashlins but never really got on with them ,but the carbon gekos are very nice

I'm on alloy buckinghams at the moment, not as comfortable as bashlins with velcro wraps but I haven't tried buckinghams with wraps yet....my leathers have just broke so velcro's will be on the way soon!

Kleins with long gaffs and T pads are my favourite at the moment. I would like to try some caddy pads on them. The Gaffs on kleins are the nicest in my opinion. Comfort is more to do with how stiff your boots are, the stiffer the better.
