My days are as short as possible ! Really can't be arsed with late finishes and flogging yourself , there's enough cash in this line of work to have easy days and still make a living

Hit it hard and leave in reasonable time, when I was employed years ago now(20)agri fencing my ridiculous boss had me work from 8 till 10 at night on regular intervals a week. Knew no different from leaving school, never again though!!

At the moment I'm working 7.30 till 8pm most days although it was 10pm when I walked in the door on Monday.

These days I work as long as I want, normally until the jobs done. Don't start until I've made Mrs Mac breakfast in bed and had a chat as she gets ready for work. Sorry have to do it as it sets me up for the day, having spent 10 years up and out before she even woke and often returning when she was a sleep. These days I'm blessed to spend quality time.

Had a great day today up n out hand balled 3 tonne of Crusher run then did 2hours clearing a garden of leaves and broken branches. Only then to spend time with top guy Wisewood shifting a large Cedar trunk for him to carve. Heavy but excellent work.

Couldn't have done any of this if I worked for some one else.

7.30-4.30 for the firm I'm subbing for unless we're on earlies in which case have to be in for 6.30, but have to be up early enough to go to the yard and feed my animals before I go to work and go back to feed them at night and usually cut some logs or something while there so I'm usually out the house about 6.45 and get home around 7,30-8.00 :001_cool:

Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.
