As per title my 2012 Transit tipper was stolen Wednesday night at 10pm north herts area. Was sign written with Rabley Tree Care on it and a steering lock but obviously that counts for very little. Just thought I'd put it on here to give people a heads up the bastards are about! Van was parked on the road in a quiet cul-de-sac, 3 men seen on camera walking to it at 8pm but spooked by someone walking their dog then back at 10pm and away with it 2 minutes later. Don't expect to see it again so if anyone has a transit for sale let me know!

Mate just rang me to tell me it's gone bust and their phone lines are down as well so doesn't look good. I'm still waiting for 2 hedge cutter combi attachments I ordered in March. They were part of a bigger order which I received in dribs and drabs over the last couple months.

Saw it at the APF. Looks pretty much the same. Switched some parts colours around like they do with the orange and grey bits. Sorry didn't take a picture. Chap on the stand said they're being made in Japan rather than Sweden. Slightly more power apparently can't remember what the figures were.

I should think it's having confidence in ones own ability to get the job done in time and make everyone money. I have done this. Only a knob wouldn't pay the rate set after proving themselves worthy. And if they don't you will never give them the privilege of learning from a master again!

Repaired a 540xp oil tank with chemical metal, worked well. Just have to get it extremely clean first and should be fine.

The rollers shouldn't rotate on tick over. Did you mean that? I had a similar issue where the stress system would kick in but took slightly too long for the rollers to continue feeding wood in and it was down to the sensor being the tiniest bit too far away from the flywheel. It is a very small gap between. -

The 2 wires that bypass the stress system aren't connected are they? They're by the ignition. -
I had the same dilemma earlier in the year as I wanted the 30'' cut. Ended up going with the Husqvarna 522HDR75X. Was very close to taking it back as the throttle response was slow to build it up to full revs. Thought there must be something wrong with it. But persevered and it probably took at least 10 full tanks for it to bed in and run normal but now it's fine. You notice it doesn't have the same power as the Stihl so isn't as good on the bigger stuff but it's okay. Seems slightly better balanced though. Would try an echo next time if Stihl still aren't making the 30'' blades.

I'm the same, try and listen to it a bit but end up just getting annoyed with the idiot presenters on the radio or tv and have to switch it off. Was telling a customer this last week and he replied "That's like the chap who got pissed off with reading how bad smoking is for you all the time. So he stopped reading."

I'm assuming this is sarcasm? Obviously there are cases of rape but surely most abortions come about from consensual sex so where is anyone being forced to do anything? Why should men be forced to have a vasectomy? Women aren't being forced to have babies. They choose to have sex like men but the implications for them are far more serious. I'm not either side of the fence with this issue but when people get on their high horse and put their "male feminist" t-shirt on and start defending what I understood was some sort of legislation that would allow full term pregnancies to be aborted it does wind me up. Surely that is madness.

Not sure if that's what it's actually called but It's where you can see your sent messages and received messages on the same page like a conversation and you can scroll up and down through the conversation rather than go into the inbox and all messages are individually opened. Sorry if that makes no sense.

Does this phone have a conversation format for texts? I find that pretty handy.

I've been using the samsung b2710 for years found it pretty good. Although not sure if they make them anymore.

I've had 2 or 3 of these exact snaps and had the same issue a couple of times in about 10 years use of them. When the bit of metal slid under the other i felt the resistance and just pushed it out and carried on. A bit like when your normal 3 way carabiners don't twist locked when closed cos of sap or whatever, you just twist them locked and carry on. Then later that day I contemplate buying shiny new stuff. Never thought of writing to the manufacturers to complain about my lack of maintenance on the kit they sold me.

From what I can see on the gov website there is no business at 16.5% only like you pointed out the "limited cost business" which is only applicable if goods cost less than 2% of turnover. The only other type of business it could be classified under would surely be "any other activity not listed elsewhere" which is at 12% so not too bad. -

Thanks for that. Are you in forestry or Arb? Did your accountant think that was the closest type of business on the scheme if your in Arb work? I will be talking to an accountant soon as to get everything in order, just wanted to get a rough idea of what it's all about. Thanks -

I will need to go VAT registered in the new year so have started to prepare for it and was thinking of going down the flat rate scheme. As you say it seems far more simple. I have a couple questions. Have I read it right that you pay 10.5% on your total income including VAT so £100+VAT= £120 10.5% of £120= £12.60? so you get to keep £7.40 of the Vat charged? As you said flat rate scheme seems so simple and better for me as I did some rough maths and On a turnover of £90000+VAT= £108000 I pay £11340 to the tax man and keep £6660 of the Vat I charge? In order to be even or better off than on the flat rate scheme I would need to spend over £33300 to claim back £6660 worth of VAT. Is that correct? And I can still claim back the VAT on single purchases over £2000 anyway. Hope this makes some sense tell me if it's complete bollocks. -
I got a load of screw gate carabiners off eBay for this purpose way cheaper than the speed line kit on honeys! They were from a rock climber who replaces all his carabiners every couple years, think I paid £60 for about 30 of them. Worth having a look on there.

I once had a customer ring me several mornings on the trot at 3.30am left me a voicemail each time. He eventually rang during day light hours and told me he had left several messages to which I replied that I don't respond to messages left in the middle of the night. His reason was that his phone was on 'aeroplane mode'. He was very odd but we did do the job. Always leave my phone down stairs at night and it's always on silent so it didn't actually bother me to be fair.
