The metal bits look like big reemers or from a milling machine

Cheers Matty

+1 for the reamers morse taper the tyre looks like its off a old compact tractor like a allis chalmer or such

That is a couple of us for parallel and tapered. The tyre has grips on the bead - makes me think of tyres that spin on rim when under load when they shouldn't. Don't know that I've seen a comparable rim, but that may be the clue.

They look similar to a spline that would go into a gearbox of some sort Asin like what you get on the ends of driveshafts ??

2 are machine reamers and 2 are hand reamers .

Gearbox splines are straight, unless you work them really really hard:laugh1:

Got a mate at Avon, technical dept manager, looking into the tyre for you... Was as confused as the rest of us when I described it to him, so sent the pic and will see what he comes up with.

Do the markings on the tyre indicate it's for an 8 inch rim? Is it solid rubber or inflatable? One of the numbers on the sidewall should be the Ply Rating, is there a maximum load shown anywhere on it?
