660 or 880?

I've been looking into getting a big saw for a while now, something that will run a 36" bar and just wanted your opinions on whether you would get the 660 or 880?

The 880 is about £200 more than the 660 but it gives me the option of running a 48" bar in the future and it will cut faster than the 660 on the 36".

Where as the 660 will be a bit lighter and obviously £200 less.

So which would you go for?

or is there another option i havn't thought about?

HI JAMES it all down to if you cut loads of very large hard wood butts then get a 880 BUT if you only say 3/4 large butts a year then get a 660 on 3ft/30" bar it so much lighter to use all so there cheaper then £200 then a 880 get one very this month as there going up mate thanks jon

Good advice :thumbup1:

Same could be said of 390/395/3120.

Wait and get a 661, the lower vibes and increased user comfort for me at least makes it a saw I'd happily ring up with all day. The 880 is a beast.

Or get a husky 395, not a saw I've used personally but is highly regarded.
