Change in online policy at Stihl?

An interesting email just in on Stihl - apparently their online sales restriction has been challenged in the courts and hence their products are available online again.

 

Anyone else hearing similar, or is this just a bit of guff?

There has been some changes, and it does mean that we will at some stage be able to start posting some items out. Once it's all clear I was going to put a post up. But as the news is already out I thought I'd clarify the truth so far.

 

Stihl are writing the new policy and we think it will be about March or April when it will be in effect. As soon as we know I'm sure it will be on here.

Hopefully, if anything, spare parts will be able to be sent out. LS Engineering was a god send for obscure parts. I wouldn't waste my time trying to get the inept local dealer to order anything.
