I'm with you egg...I used to work as many days as possible saturdays...overtime etc... but not anymore..we spend so much of our lives working. I am loving being on holiday and don't even think about when I have to be back.To me, its all about family...and me time:)

Went up the yard, split my logs, repaired the chipper, went and used it for the firsttime, well pleased with it:thumbup1: sharpened a saw, fitted a fire extinguisher in the tractor, arranged a fairly urgent call out for tommorow, had a fair few tea breaks and the went for late lunch in a pub with my mates, far more enjoyable and relaxing than staying at home:lol:

Today as it turned out.I was just going out with the dogs too.Fallen trees, some in dangerous condition at a holiday centre. They have clients in over the new year so were desperate. On it over the weekend too.First work with them and quoted for other work for the next few weeks, so we put ourselves out.

Works starting to come in now with the weather and after a slow couple of weeks before christmas, its welcome and needs to be done.

The later the better.

Trying not to offend anyone but Tbh anyone desperate to get back to work really needs to look at improving their social life! :001_huh:

Fair enough if people need the money and each to their own and all that stuff, but i just don't get it!:confused1:i

There is plenty of time to work, enjoy spending time with friends and family first if possible.
