Husqvarna 560XPG ...yr thoughts .....

All Husqvarna forest and garden products carry a 12 month warranty, with a second 12 if the product is registered on line by the dealer or customer, warranty is a fault in materials or manufacture, not miss use, abuse, lack of service or maintenance, because auto tune is fairly new it gets the blame for just about everything, due to emmision laws auto tune is here to stay, Stihl are also supplying machines with there version of auto tune, there is even a fuel injected Stihl power cutter so emmissions are having an effect on the way machines are being produced today and in the future.

I don't have any problems with manufacturers cleaning up dirty petrol & diesel engines, inc Husqvarna. Next time you're following an old car running on leaded petrol & without a catalytic converter ~ take a big breath & imagine what it would be like if we didn't have modern engines. Cheers, steve

Basically Rover- Im the last person to moan at Husqvarna , the warranty was 90 days as it is on all Pro saws , Stihl or Husqy . This is From a Large Dealer network ( Not a bloke down the pub ) This posting was to garner any other complaints from other users ( And Ive seen many !) I fitted the new parts on the expired warranty saw as we had no other option . ( Scrap a £700 saw ? ) And I had several reasons in mind for the saw failing - any one of them could be a culprit - but any dealer would replace failed parts and return it to you - I did not expect a new saw to fail AT ALL ! K

Got a feeling that its a legal requirement that all goods should be suitable for the job they are sold for and warranted for a minimum of 12 months.

auto tune is here to stay,

Others have met emission limits without autotune :sneaky2::biggrin:

Leaded petrol?! Lol, since when did that come back on the market?!

How about following a modern petrol car, with a hydrogen-sulphide belching catalytic converter? How about the toxic exposure when filling up?...

Got 2 X 2013 saw and both running faultlessly (so far) after I had such a bad time with a 2012 saw that almost sent me back to the german side, mind you mine all run on aspen so fuel quality is no longer a considered problem.

sent while pretending to do something important on my mobile.

Seriously considering aspen for both my saws (t540 and 560xpg) been running them since Sept 2013 on petrol do you think I'd need to change anything more than the fuel filter?

Depends on the condition of all the rubber parts . Petrol takes the coating off the rubber but, the petrol itself keeps it supple . the aspen , as I understand wont take the coating off if you use it from the off but it wont keep it supple like petrol does if its already been removed by the petrol .
