Dragging parked cars out of the DZ

Had one of those arb jobs today where the customer had left her car right under the conifers we were felling :001_rolleyes: Gone to work and left it there despite us saying about it etc etc.

Working round it would have done our heads in so we just dragged it backwards out of the way.

Was this a fairly S.O.P in this incidence or very very naughty?

Many years ago i worked at connick doing street trees in london. They had 4special wheel jacks that you put under each wheel and could then push cars out the way. I think they had to stop using them as cars were moved across the road and boxed in etc. People complained...:confused1:

I would be very carefull moving anyones car without permision as you would be liable for any damage.

About 20 years ago I was part of a team that pruned the street trees in Bournemouth. From several days before we would leave No Parking Cones out. People would still leave their cars there. We would move them by several of us lifting the back ends and wheeling them out the way. Sometimes left them on double yellows!
