Another home made tool for digger, mark 1 needs a little change to make it better but ripped out 3 old willow roots in 45mins and a conifer root in 20mins.

Seen something similar on a large rubber duck on a YouTube video.

was thinking of making up one using some of my “worn past their limit”

No more pictures, what it is a very heavy top hat 30kg with a bit of 20mm plate bolted to it with a old chipper blade bolted to it. all bolts are 20mm.

Right, anyone got any ideas please as to best value rotator grab for a 1.6t machine... An E16

 

Also, do they handle rubble better than a bucket as it'll be used more for that than timber

If it’s for rubble then I’d use a hydraulic thumb.  If you want a grab get a demo grab not timber grab.
