Really simple idea but how often have you nearly popped a track off and just need a bar to encourage it back on again but can't be arsed to go get it from the truck, now I don't have to.

Think you might need some new tracks mate!

That bucket/grab/shear combo is a well tidy effort, that very much reminds me of the GKB Lumberjack grab/shear that I’ve long admired as being a great bit of kit that would be ideal just to plug into hired in machines with hammer/shear and rotate circuits.

I’ve seen some better videos and the shear really does have some power, but hides away when required so normal grab operation can be resumed.

Just that time of year for getting some wish list stuff done.

Many projects now want the material moved to the chipper (bigger chippers and chip going off as biomass) so thought it was time to sort a towbar setup out for the 13 tonne long reach.

Could be handy on some Highway jobs just to move a light tower or shunt a trailer about too.

It’s done in such a way that one person can install it, and extends out to the end of the tracks if required.

Should open up a few options, just trying to find a decent bolster trailer on wide tyres for it now.

Also have an issue with Transport that’s sometimes hired in out of my control who simply take one look especially with the big 1200mm pads on and start pulling faces as to how to chain it on.

Having been informed by one low loader driver he had an NVQ in machine securing, the response it must of been from night school and I wouldn’t let you chain a cow up, perhaps highlighted I’d best do something about it.

Hopefully these lashing points once painted in something nice and bright might just keep them happy!

Apparently they are Eurocomach machines rebadged (which have a great reputation but are mega expensive) - have you priced anything up as will be interesting to see what sort of dosh they are?

It’d want plenty of counterweight to make the most of it on a small machine IMO, probably no use on a zero. The 6 tonner looks a nice bit of kit!

Asked robustrack for price on a eurocomach last yr but never got much info so left it at that. Can send if you want? Yeh with engcon on end would want extra ballast block, But then it’s pushing it out with towing capacity…6T looks 👌🏻
