Anyone in the West Midlands looking at Arb diggers and is on the fence or can't justify purchase we will shortly have a full arb digger set up available for long or short term hire - 

 

Brand new 2.6 ton, zero tail digger, available with Fixed grab and rotator, cone splitter, post knocker, auger, stump grinder, timber trailer, flail topper and the usual array of buckets. 

The unit will be fitted with Green & amber beacons, LED working lights, chapter 8 decals and Full LOLER cert - A 3.5 ton plant trailer is provided as part of the package. More details on our website or feel free to message me for a full run down of the hire kit we have on offer.

Got our Sany set up somewhere near now. Very impressed with the spec as standard. 2 proportional Aux functions as standard. Both have I think 8 presets so you can vary the flow in 5% increments, means we can have the rotator on the grab at 5% and the flail set to 100% and you just change the setting on the key pad when you change the implement. Not used it in anger to know general running etc, but all looks sound enough.

Local dealer had one in stock as well which is always a nice surprise in the current climate. 

 

Made this video this morning, making the most of the sunny spell! Didn't come out quite as smooth as I had in my mind when I thought of it, but quite pleased with the effect non the less.

Looks good - I’ll follow your progress with the Sany with interest!

I’d suggest getting cab guards if sending it out handling timber…

Can you share some more pics of your grab to hitch bracketry please? Looks like it's mounted 90degrees to how grabs are usually mounted to the tophat. Looks like a harford sl30 hitch, which I have on a 2.4ton takeuchi, so would be interested in how you get on with your solution
