 Because that’s the nature of the game with a Backhoe, Versatility is what they’re about.

Back in the day we’d be tramping about with that and the essential Hydraulic Breaker, you’d be amazed how much utilisation the Breakers would get, Backhoe’s are great carriers for them.

Not forgetting all the 25ltr diesel drums that would be slipped into the Buckets carried in the front too, so you could last a few days.

 

Looking great Stephen, you know you’re now going to be everyone’s mate local now, with “can you just nip up on the weekend” ?

Just a couple more images of that U48 Kubota and Engcon setup.

He looks after his kit, and is actually going to a new Kobelco SK75 setup with Fixed Boom and Engcon, as interestingly he says he can’t remember the last time he used offset once the Engcon was fitted.

Came with 1 old digging bucket, bought a second hand set of 6 off a local contractor who was retiring.

  Got a 6’ ditcher which is excellent.

The dealer did for me FOC as the company was coming in to do another 1 going out to a new customer.  Great dealing with an independent dealer, makes decisions on the spot, handshake and job done.  I’ve not even paid for 60% of it yet and I’ve been earning all day today!?

Has anyone seen the Huddig before, they look like a brilliant bit of kit.

 

No intention of getting one ( couldn’t afford it anyway) but thought others might like to see it.

 

Hate to think of the price one of these must go for.
