always take these cancer causing stories with a pinch of salt (which also has a cancer risk :001_rolleyes:) seems everything does these days ive come to the conclusion that its over consumption of a thing that may cause an increased risk, as the ol' saying goes everything in moderation :001_smile:

No medical evidence for either glucosamine or cod liver oil when it comes to reducing joint pain. There is some evidence of fish body oil having a positive effect - but unfortunately this is counteracted by recent research that shows an increased risk of prostate cancer associated with an increased dosage of fish body oil.

Copper bands seem to work for quite a few people, not sure if there's any scientific evidence to back this up but if it works - it works. I don't like things around my wrists either, but if it's a choice between that or joint pain...

Used to take a cod liver oil and glucosamine, but stopped few months ago as i dont want prostate cancer.

Just have a multi-vitamin tablet daily now, rightly or wrongly.

I've had arthritis for 20+ years and have had a full hip replacement and shoulder surgery both sides . Nothing I've tried has helped me , and I recon I've tried the lot .

The thing that gave me most relief was warm dry weather .
