how far do you go in your landy a day?

Rode in my mates 55 plate defender this morning,we did i suppose a 50 mile round trip.

I fell out of it back at my yard and could hardly stand up straight for half an hour.

Quite often do 120mile round trip. Defender with heavy duty springs is not comfortable:thumbdown:

Done quite a lot of trips up north in a day ,the round trip is about 400 miles, longest round trip so far has been close to Sutton on sea, just under 500 miles, trip was fine, picked up a pto log splitter which went on the back, steady 70 apart from m25, 2011 puma. with air con.

HI SWINNY i have a old R REG 110 tipper i love in and out the woods for timber it been a good old truck cheap part too it how you look out to them how they go on thanks jon

I thought forestry and other tree workers were made of tougher stuff used to drive a Series III diesel from Worthing to Chester to work every week and come back weekends. and used to do 150 mile round trip a day. I now drive a 1987 defender 200 TDI and think of nothing of driving to the girlfriends and back 142 miles to be exact. So that 53 I must be a lot younger than you boys

Average about 30miles a day in my 300tdi, I only cover a 20mile radius. Wouldn't have a problem going further in it though.

I really think people over exaggerate how un comfortable they are. Iv done several 400mile trips in mine and I honestly don't find it uncomfortable at all. A little noisy, Yes.

P.s my other vehicle is a Zetor tractor, once you've driven one of them 20 miles, the landy seems like a Bentley.
