Is arb work hard work?

Right, let make this clear if I have a big job on and there are a couple of blokes on the deck. The experienced one will be in charge of rigging if needed, chainsaw work blah blah blah the other lad normally the boy is in charge of chipping and that about it. Is it really to much to ask for a bit of urgency.

I really don't think it is

If that urgency means you expect him to jog and he then trips and smashes his face into..get up lad you should be grafting...

I think what's needed is efficiency and planning ahead. No need to run, just keep up a good steady pace keeping everything clear. We had a lad come to work with us years ago who ran every where. Made us quite giddy watching him sprint here and there. Trouble was he didn't engage his brain, so keen on making an impression, but he'd forget what he'd run after, forget where he was going, it was comical. Where do you hope to get by having everyone running around? You won't get there any quicker.

No running everywhere.

Jesus, it's a jog back from the chipper empty handed. Not everywhere.

If they are carrying enough to the chipper then walking should be the fastest pace they can perform.
