I get asked it a lot!

I just tell them there's enough to fill the 1m cube bucket on the loader but basically for an exact number its how longs a piece of string? I've never counted how many go in a cube & I never intend to do so!

Mine's a Ford Ranger super cab, loose load is approx 1.1 cubic metres and with ten inch logs average load is 340 logs. (I worked in a bank for 23 years and cannot stop counting!!).

I cut 240mm long which is shorter than most, nothing over 125mm diameter, most around 75mm/100mm. I hand filled about 10 bags from the bottom of a bulk pile last year, about 450/500 per cubic meter bag.
