The West has it badly wrong this time; or should I say "again".

Syria;

Actually a respectively moderate governmnnt now labelled a "regime" since it

has taken defensive action against rebels.

Said rebels are not aiming at an arab spring rather a less moderate and more fundamentalist islamic state.

But the west in its stupidity thinks to arm the rebels is the way forward. D'oh. Rebels are in cahoots with Al-quaeda remember.

US president states that the use of chemical weapons "would be a game changer".

Aagh! A plan is hatched! Rebels fire one rocket with a little nerve agent on board, indescriminently but towards it's own, ooops. "You'll be martyrs for the cause" they say. A few of our own is a price worth paying to get the west involved against Asad...

And the 'democratic' west falls for the trick; hook, line and sinker!

Plus our own foreign secretary now states that UK military action is jutifiable without UN backing!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't enough of our sons died already in Afghan and Iraq et al?

Why on earth do we have to get involved?

Principally though, how in the name of Zeus's butt hole (ref intended - name that film) have western politicians fallen for it?!

WAKE UP!

no politicians ( British ) don't get it wrong all the time , they scrapped Ark Royal to save cost of a ship , this should have the knock on effect of saving service men's lives and £m's because we can't get there . You never , since Korea , hear of China invading countries that they don't like they just swamp them with cheap goods ! it seams to me listening to the news that its just Britain and its colonial big cousin that have to stick their nose's in same as you don't hear of Spain or France , Italy etc making charity donations to those less fortunate . Britain should re-deploy its military budget to border controls to keep out sub standard products and dole refugees .

They won't , they know exactly what they are doing and because there will be money to be made arming them... Once an al quaeda state is in power we have a great reason to invade and that's what it's all about.. The same bullshit excuses to put are troops in and attempt to make are petroleum company's richer by taking control and putting who they want in charge of oil/gas production.. I believe we went to afgahn and iraq for one reason only and it was the same as the Russians, natural resources.

Maybe I have been watching to much al jezeera !
