Hi all looking your views on this issue! Currently i am in a minimum wage dead end job in retail and want to make a break into the arb world. So far i have managed to save up enough to buy my own ppe, and i am getting a day a week with a local firm as a goundie (labourer), dragging brash, feeding chippers, brushing and raking! The experience is great and i am loving each day! My problem lies in the fact that i need to gather the funds for cs30/31! Thats the guts of £1000 which aint easy to save! Is it worth hitting the credit card a rattle! All views welcome! Thanks in advance!

That's what I done, finance enough money to take time out of the job I used to do travel to the training venue buy all my ppe saws climbing kit and complete loads of courses. If you can afford the repayments then go for it, the only thing is it still took me a little while to find the work I wanted. Three years on I have some good experience under my belt and earning pretty good money.

Worth getting into debt for? That's your decision but I say not at credit card rates, if you have to get debt, get a loan
