Hi all. Doing a large job for nice pleasant lady atm you know the type that can't make you enough tea and toast. She was saying that she has a tree out the front of house that she couldn't id so thought I would ask on here for your help. Lady says that although it does shed leaves it us never bare and they are yelliw in spring and change colour through the seasons. Tree is over 30 years of age as was at house when she bought it. Got the gladiator type a in a small i have a 32" waist and find them a good fit! Was in the same predictament when i ordered but the size guides seem to be spot on in my experience! Hope this helps

Yes treequip you are right i could go hard, cock it up and go home in a body bag but i was blessed with two ears, two eyes and a brain! Use all these to good effect and no cock ups and no body bag!

I am "the boy" with the firm i work one day a week for on my day off from my retail job and am grateful for the experience in a saturated trade! My boss has said to me before that he will know am warm enough when my t shirts wet! Am with the op on this one! Top dollar being paid by the op so top work rate required! And really if a guy is going to fall over and hurt himself whilst empty handed in a garden i doubt he is going to go to far in the industry! Go hard or go home!

Based in northern ireland! But thanks for the thought! Yea mark thats what i plan to do! Just hard to pay the bills and save on my current wage! Going to try for some funding, if not looks like a long haul scrimping and saving what i can until i have enough for tickets!

Thanks for all the replies so far guys! The general consensus seems to be keep plucking away and getting experience under my belt! Paying the bills is ok but its not easy to go to a soul destroying job day in day out!

Hi all looking your views on this issue! Currently i am in a minimum wage dead end job in retail and want to make a break into the arb world. So far i have managed to save up enough to buy my own ppe, and i am getting a day a week with a local firm as a goundie (labourer), dragging brash, feeding chippers, brushing and raking! The experience is great and i am loving each day! My problem lies in the fact that i need to gather the funds for cs30/31! Thats the guts of £1000 which aint easy to save! Is it worth hitting the credit card a rattle! All views welcome! Thanks in advance!

Thanks bren! My plan is to go full time but its hard to save money for courses and buy essential kit on my current income! But from what you say i might be best waiting until i have the cash for the professional kit!

Airstreams have arrived from honey bros! Thanks to them for advice and quick delivery! Had them on briefly for a stroll with the dif and must admit they feel like i have owned them for months as they are damn comfy!! As the cash flow isnt great thinking of budget trousers to see me through my cs30/31 the likes of oregon yukon! Any one bought these? Views please!!

Just starting out and all advice welcome... First thing is ppe trousers, dont mind spending the money on good kit but with nowhere local stocking any sort of half decent range need advice on sizing... I have a32in waist and 32in inside leg. Different brands dofferent sizes?
