£24,500 + VAT = £29,400

If you pay the VAT up front which is £4,900 & 10% of the machine cost which is £2,450 the payments are £407 per month for 60 months.

Its by far the best investment I have made in business, I thought the Bang Tidy was a good buy but that only carry's us and the waste, the chipper has increased productivity by miles! Far more than I could have ever imagined.

I had ran Timberwolf 190's for 10 years and thought I would stick with them until I bought the Bang Tidy, I then started looking at bigger machines, I looked at the Timberwolf 10" machine and the Schliesing MX235, I was disappointed with both. I then asked for a demo of the Vermeer BC235XL, it looked perfect on paper but was it up to the job...? It turned up one day with Will Wood and we abused it for about an hour and it blew my mind, it just chewed up everything we put in it. Only down side and this is me looking for bad points are its weight at 2100kg and its not Orange lol

It suits my business needs perfectly and wish I had bought one years ago!

Hi chaps I like the chipper it looks quite compact ,did you try a bandit ? Either 9 or 12 inch I had a look at the Vermeer website and the auto feed / stress control seems to not stop the feed quick enough meaning it dribbles chips on the floor behind the truck,Bandit have an auto reverse system that stops this are you able to adjust the auto feed on the vermeer?

That's one of the most sensible posts I've seen, big chipper that's made life a lot easier, should have done it years ago, if I had a penny the times I get told that. You've done your maths & if its like our chippers it will hold its value.

Pity it's not our 9" chipper it would have saved you cutting that limb in half :)

You're right stephen...angled cuts allow the butt to be drawn in more easily and half cut horizontals snap well passing through the hopper but we wsnted this test piece to be as awkward as possible...all large pieces we put through now are all snedded flush and fly through!....johny we are thinking of painting the Iveco 'vermeer yellow " instead:D

This machine changes the way you look at the tree and the processing...you use it less but carry bigger bits..wslk towsrds the hungry yellow mouth and push tinber through the black rubber flap of doom!:D...and its gone. No drama....ever.....you never need to look at the offset rollers (bottom roller acts as a conveyor) and with nore infeed snd grabbing power than a BC 1000 it denolishes any wood and it fliesrught to the back of the box....no spills......turntable glides as does the chute.....
