Dave started wearing the Aquafell Experts in mid January that I was kindly sent as a replacement pair, along with a few other guys on the forum, by Fortec footwear, back in June.

 

He finds them comfy to climb in, but the soles are rather soft and he doesnt like them on the ground as much as the Haix protectors he was previously wearing.

 

We will see how they last.

 

FTR, I'm still wearing the same pair of Haix Tibets.

Climia Air's.Good for me as I mostly do removals.

 

I remember the Sthil Boots of 10 years back.God awful but matched the Willans T22 I was climbing in at the time.Both being equally crap:001_smile:

My absolute first pair of boots were given to me in 1985, they'd belonged to a previous employee who had hanged himself. Dead mans boots! Wasn't I a lucky guy.

Those Stihl boots were against the bill of human rights on every level.

 

i never did buy myself those boots, looked brutal but i did buy them for the workers:sneaky2:they were like michellin v-treds:001_smile:

THeyre ok-get a tight fitting, throw them in the bath overnight, wear them until theyre dry, the next day an theyre fine.
