Sign writing questions...

What's one of these mate or am I being a bit thick?

 

Its one of those funny looking squares you see on adverts and the like, it works like a bar code, you "scan" it with your phone and it gives you whatever info is embedded, often takes you to a website

Might be worth looking at magnetic signs for the van. No problem if you change the van also can remove them if go somewhere that it's best not to advertise what is inside. I don't have a van or any signs so could be talking b@ll@x

After 20 years of being sign written I cant remember anyone ringing up because they see my van. I think it is more to reassure excisting customers that you are still legit. And puts people at ease if you are lost in an industrial est. You are more likely to get a going over by vosa if you are sign written.

Yeah the vosa thing is true what you say , dad seems to get pulled the odd few times , waste carriers , over weight ( not him altho he is lol ) and checking if we have stolen tools etc

I've got magnetic signs on my van, black writing on white background nice and simple, only downside is I had them made to fit the side panels on an escort van, so I have to keep buying escort vans so the signs fit

I just did mine friday i stuck them on my self real easy to do pain to peel my old company stuff off though!
