If you have a chance, go for contrasting colours. Red on black or blue on red or gold on yellow may look good close up. But it's hell to read at distance and on the move... Don't choose typefaces which are scrolled or fancy. Again, they may give an appearance of elegance but are also hell to read on the move. You want it quick, to the point and easily memorable.

My van currently has my web address on , only a small sticker on the bonnet and rear doors , phone number stickers sat in the office as I can't see much point putting it on yet as the sign writers booked for two weeks time , jst need to send him my final design and he will do it free of charge if I put his name on my race car this season :D big bonus !

Hi TBG , seen a few around my way with scrolled lettering , chrome finished letters and lary looking back grounds , they all look good but from a distance you just can't read them , intact I can't even remember what even one of them was advertising

Thats one of the points that's bugging me , I've spent all my earnings on what I have now and to loose them would probably mean game over for me , but on the other hand having it sign written does draw in customers , it's a tough choice

Yup. Ive had vans sign written in the past. Lots of info on etc... hen changed vans... lost out on money from sign writing plus pain to remve so much.

Now its an external board bolted to sides. Name. Message n number :thumbup1:

When I had my van(s) I had boards made with my company on them and it was easy to swap if needed.

Might be worth looking at magnetic signs for the van. No problem if you change the van also can remove them if go somewhere that it's best not to advertise what is inside. I don't have a van or any signs so could be talking b@ll@x
