Been a bit hectic lately and eating so much. This morning have what my wife calls a trough of muesli at 6.30 by 9.00 I have got the shakes and have to stuff my face again. I want to keep it healthy but it would be nice to last more than 2-3 hours before needing another feed. What do you guys find works for high octane fuel

Ripe banana mid morning will give you a healthy boost, go for yellow not green bananas as the starch has turned to natural sugar and so will act immediately on blood sugar levels i.e. immediate energy boost. Cdo

Well today it's homemade humous and smoked salmon :-)

Hummous is good. I eat tons so not enough hours in the day to make enough of the homemade stuff but its great when I do make it.

Rye bread and ryvita are much longer lasting carbs than bread etc. so they are good. I have four eggs and rye bread for breakfast, tuna salad and humous and ryvita during the day and bananas etc. Avoid sugary things as they give you sugar lows. Your meusli might have more sugar in it than you think!
