How i installed ground anchor for trailer

Just incase anyone is interested.

 

Decided not to use one of the bolt down type of anchors as i didnt want it sticking up and you have to use the chain in a ring effectively halving its length. so i dug up my concrete floor, used a bit of old 9" underground pipe, drilled holes in it at right angles to each other, put 20mm rebar through hole in pipe, through link in chain and through otherside of pipe. So 3 lengths of rebar through 3 chain links. Probably about 2ft under the ground. concreated this all back in with a water tap box on top, so the chain and lock can be stored under the lid.
