hi james,get a solid gb bar for milling, solves all your droop problems, and if you are getting a lot of large dia stuff, turn the mill upside down, ........mount the mill to the log.....details on the logosol us site, there is a logosol handbook about it

Great stuff James. Whats the wood in the fourth picture?

 

 

Its red oak from a garden near Sevenoaks. The client has a big stack of it in his garage that he is planning to turn into floor boards when it is seasoned! It’s pretty hard wood!

Looks like London plane possibly? (I could be wrong)
