Not sure what they are like but along the same lines as the Aldi ones mensioned earlier, Lidl have some hiking type trousers in at the mo with zip off legs, might be handy if your grass cuttiing and the sun comes out! Think they are 9.99 a pair!

arborwears are great trousers, and in an affordable price bracket too, specially taking into consideration their durability.

The ultimate non ppe trousers though IMO are the stretch airs. I have a pair for work in the summer, and also a pair for best that I use for general wear, love them.

Have a look at Engelbert Strauss. I bought two pairs of work breeks last year. They come with removable knee pads and a load of pockets. I have been working on my knees alot fencing and around the garage. They havent torn yet. My mate who recomended them is a full time sparky working in lofts and crawling under floors and has the same pair over two years. They are around £35 a pair and worth it..

we have used the stihl brush cutter trousers very tough material .

Agreed. Mine must be at least 6 years old and they're starting to go along seams. Very good but have you seen the price now? You really pay for the brand.

If anyone feels tempted to try the Oregon Brushcutters instead don't; they are nothing like the Stihls. They're very lightweight and tight fitting.
