We have had 4 of them already. Husqvarna gave us 4 to test here in Sweden. They all got sent back broke and not working after a couple of months use. I would definitely stick with stihl for top handle saw. The bad massively out weighs the good. Quick list of the good to bad points....

Bearing in mind this wasn't down to abuse just Day to day use ;

Chain brake snapped

Side handle snapped from body

Lanyard attachment point snapped

On/off switch split in half

Anti vibration spring on handle bends easily

Auto tune has a mind of its own, will start revving faster on idle than when cutting :-s also with this problem you can't just start adjusting it your self it needs to be plugged in to a computer. Took one to a husqvarna dealer about it and they didn't have a clue what to do. Could see that be a massive problem.

They seem to vibrate A LOT

They came with a 14" bar which is far to big for this saw

Some of the lads thought they where heavy

Small point...choke is hard to put on with gloves..small switch on side of filter casing. Can be annoying as if you put it down for 2 mins you generally have to cold start it again.

3 out the 4 saws completely stopped working and wouldn't start again..the one that was left just had constant running problems. We all have a lot of experience here so can say we normally could tell what's wrong with a top handle when some goes wrong but on these saws it's just baffled us.

For the good,

It's a nice colour

If it worked as it should it does feel a nice saw in the hand

There is 3 of us lads sat here trying to think of some good points but we are struggling

We have all written our views and opinions on the saws and was sent back to husqvarna. I hope they take them in to consideration and don't release this saw until the problems are sorted as I think they will have a lot of people disappointed and angry. I do believe it has potential though. We are not anti husqvarna either as we have husky ground saws! If stihl are sticking to this clearly weird and wrong policy about not being able to order parts over the internet ect I think husqvarna should hurry and sort this saw out.

There was another good point and that, on the fuel tank it has a really clear patch on it so you can clearly see how much fuel is left in it. The on/off switch is good but it's flimsy. You only have to switch off and it spring back to on so it's constantly on if that makes sense
