the eye for the tool strop seems a bit flimsy .

 

I would assume you are using the metal ring and not the plastic one?

 

Just for anyone else in the future, this is likely to be a very common mistake and possibly resulting in a few dropped saws;

nearly got a stihl 150 then saw this so hope it turns into the right choice .

 

I'm not having a go about this, but why would you be deliberating between a 150 and a 540? Very, very different uses IMO. A bit like saying what saw should I go for between a MS261 and a MS461:confused1:

 

 

Also just curious, but on these later(official released) saws, have husky over come this rather annoying issue?
