Actually got to see this match for once, (on the TV).

Half time score reflected the play I thought, France slightly ahead.

The French subs were I thought crap, they came from the team wopped by the Italians, the English subs were pretty good, that was the difference in the end.

Come on Scotland, would it not be sweet to award the French la wooden spoon !!.

Come on Penfold! An offence is an offence! No matter when committed. Saracens lost two players tonight in injury time, the bin is one punishment but tge infringement could lead to a match ban as well!

Hope England win but this sport ain't a patch on League I'm afraid..

I'm afraid you are wrong in this. League is just 2 lines of players running at each other. No opportunities for art and flair. Just bruising.

In fact its an argument that isn't an argument.:001_smile:

Kind of agree with this statement. I did play league for a number of years and "two lines of players running at each other" petty much sums it up. Always thought that introducing a league style defence into the union game was whats needed - rush defence, double up tackles, etc.

Called it a day with league when a ref judged a full forearm/elbow to the face was a legal tackle.

Union will always be may first love.

Bonjour!

23 - 13 = tout est perdue pour La France!

We had lunch with our neighbours today, they asked what the English sing & I had to explain & sing swing sweet low sweet chariot - with actions and they were highly amused!

The French had a very good team for the first half, then messed it all up after half time.

le cuillère en bois peut etre?

Ha your kidding yourself. You can't really call the bumbling about of a lot of union players to league. Too many scrums then ages wasted over kicking?! Come on! And let's not mention the conditioning of the players...
