I have the Husky T425, must be very similar in comparison to the stihl 150?

handy little saw for small pruning jobs, hedges etc. :thumbup1:

I was looking for specs on the t425 but its not for sale on jonesies... bit gutted. Was going to compare and price etc... think the t425 was only 200 odd inc vat?

...but its pants....I used one for a day and was glad to give it back

Was it sharp/well maintained? I find mine to be great for the right kinda job,

but always make sure its razor sharp etc.

Im not saying these little saws are the be all and end all, but they do have there uses.

I've now given the 150 a proper testing. It's still a ripper in harder wood. The cutting speed in larger wood is marginally slower than a 200, so it's not going to replace it for dismantles, but for reductions, deadwood etc, it's fantastic. It feels fairly low vibration wise and has very responsive throttle control. I generally step and chuck everything, for which the 150 is awesome. A couple of quick blips of the throttle and you're ready to grab. It's nimble and light in the tree and doesn't snag when moving around.
