Beds I've made over the last couple of years

A place near me the 'Cottage Lodge' in Brockenhurst has had me make a few things in the last 2 years....

 

 

I've liked using 'spiny oak' or the oak you get on dead trees where all the sapwood has rotted away leaving the hard dry wood beneath. A pressure wash, coupld of days in the kiln, sand and blow out makes for lovely uprights.
