i use my border terrier and if thats not enough some chemical, theres always people looking in farmers guardian for rat vermin hunting

Traps and poison, and shoot if your feeling in the mood/can be arsed. Come down on them like a ton of bricks ASAP.

Fen traps work well as does poisoned bait. However, both are indiscriminant and you need to make sure that other non-target species can't get at them.

A friend of mine had great success with his terrier.

However, if you have rats in there you will not get rid of them until you get rid of whatever is attracting them.

Terriers love them, back of the neck and shake their heads until the neck is broken - you could get in touch with the local air rifle club - you will get a good uptake no doubt.

Peanut butter and bacon is the bait that has been recommended to me - the ones I have had in the garden seem to visit late afternoon before dusk about this time of year - shot a few over the years but nothing for the last two:lol:

Think my quest has been fulfilled:thumbup:

Do all that . Crunchy peanut butter on the spring traps . Bait them without setting them the first couple of times . then cockem and use quite a few .

Poison every time , use two different types , bate the place right up really fill the bowls on the run they will gorge this will infect nursing mothers also .That should do the trick for a while and next time try a different bait the can supposedly become immune.Might take a week or so but you will start to see the odd dead un about.
