I had one, used it a few times but found the ear defenders were poor at protecting ears from chipper or saws, but the main thing was that it just didn't fit my head in a comfy way.

I wonder how many people don't realise that the ear muffs have adjustment screws to alter the pressure on the head.

Not really .... They are still not fit for the purpose of offering decent hearing protection even on max pressure and if any thing it exerts the problems of the muffs falling off there rails and also ear ache by increased pressure , I was told they are bringing out an up grade kit but I'm just tired of the bloody thing falling apart so it's going.

rohan bought one after trying one at the forestry demo and hes worn it since everyday i asked him what he thougt "wish it was available years ago im not sweating as much not as hot and comfortable fits well fantastic"

Are they just a gimmick and how do they attach?

Any glasses that don't have legs going inside the ear muffs are a good idea.

Sorrry to hear about your helmet Matty... the upgrade sounds good but like a lot of people I am very happy with mine..not tried them yet O.M.T but been reading up on them..it really lives up to the "integral"name. Washed mine the other day...almost everything on it quick releases...so easy...

I've had it a while now and think its great until I just read about the ear defenders not giving the right level if protection. Is the ear defender up grade available yet? Better go back to my old helmet for now I think....
