Hi guys, just looking into doing my cs38-39 soon as really want to get into climbing, trying to get work experience but what do you recommend me learning beforehand to get a head start? Also, is there a go-to website for kit that anybody recommends.

Also finally, any recommendations for places to get the tickets either in the Manchester area, North Wales area or South Scotland area.

Hi Stephen,

Get yourself a book called 'The tree climbers companion' by Jeff Jepson.

Learn the Bowline, Blakes hitch and Fishermans knot- That should give you a good headstart.
