if you are paying tax, then you are making money. but a good accountant can certainly help things.:001_smile:

Not being funny fellas but how does a good account manage to get you to pay hardly any tax apart from making sure you claim everything back that you can?

If you earn more than you spend then you pay tax, so you either say you are earning less or you say you are spending more.

If I can save 10k next year then I will gladly give someone 20% :)

i used to have 2-3 staff, van and to behind, big tax bill, loads of hassle, loads of lifting heavy things.

now i have no staff, ,no tennis elbow, no six pack, no tax bill, and no tax.

but i do have lovely big toys that are written off against your profit.

but now they are bought and paid for, and the tax relief is out of them.

sell them, get lovely new shiny stuff. 90%tax relief on agricultural kit.

and then no more tax for a while. happy days:001_smile:

It always makes me smile when people moan about their tax bill, its a % so if you owe say £5K you must have had at least £20K, above your allowances, so wheres the problem?????

I have a very good accountant and he costs me £2K per year, he makes sure I only pay what I have too, but if I found I had no tax too pay I would be worried.
