Awkward oak removal last week as the stem has started to crack apart from the ground up, limited room, a lake and a dubiously built bridge ment we had to take it easy but used the botex to lift all the limbs I could reach which really made it quicker.

Then off to finish a little thinning job while the fields around the wood were still stubble, just over 100 ton we think in this heap, 14 load anyway and around the same on the clients hard standing to be chipped for his own boiler next winter.

Is that dodgy oak a Thorp Perrow one?

Yes, was typically a bit of a panic to get it done and made safe especially since it was on the children's trail on over the bridge..
Perry pixie wasn't to happy with us disturbing his house but a new one will be carved into the 8ft stump we left DSC_0020.jpeg

Left today’s customer a piece of modern art because I didn’t want to nick his scaffold pole.

A bespoke piece Mark [emoji108][emoji108] my city council spent 40k for an rsj to be put in the ground. Apparently it symbolises our industry. There I was thinking Norwich didn't have anything to do with steel or any industry of worth.
